A soft, loose take on a pixie cut, hairstylist Francesca Inverarity of The Hair Bros in London describes the cut as a “gentle, almost grown-out interpretation of the timeless, classic crop”. Hosk makes it look seriously effortless: short at the ends, with more length on top, Hosk wore her new cut with a wet-look finish. Slicked back with some tendrils falling over her face, it evoked images of Linda Evangelista in the ’90s.
While many of us assume that the shorter your hairstyle, the less versatile it will be in everyday life, that’s not the case with a pixie cut like this. The added length allows for a number of different styles – including a brushed-forward look, side-swept fringe and mussed-up blow-out – plus it’s effortless, cool and perfect for the hotter months.
